Well, it’s time of the year again for all our family, friends and relatives to reunite under one roof, where the married give and singles take. and then it’s all about greeting each other with that huge grin all over your face knowing that it’s just right to be in that festive mood, shaking hands, bear-hugging, and pinching that new-born baby’s chubby cheeks. Everyone’s in a great mood. Kids scream and shout at the sight of sweets, tit-bits and loads and loads of bak kwa and prawn rolls - perfectly quantified to last them till next year’s sugar load. Parents scream and shout too, at the sight of their kids dumping in all those glucose into their system knowing that they will have a crazy time later tending to them. Newly weds being shy around relatives who keeps asking about when their first offspring is due or how their honeymoon was - as if these couples will articulate what they did in their romantic getaway probably making those exact babies or rather, offsprings their relatives are talking of carrying. And then you have the grandparents whose eyes gleamed brighter than any other time of the year other than at their children’s weddings, grandchildren’s birthday or having won first prize TOTO. Life for them remains simple. Fried mee simple. All the necessary ingredients of family togetherness in, and they are satisfied. Complement it with chili padi-ness of the cute little young grandchildren, and it’s a luxury to them. Life’s all fine and they indulge in the annual heimlich atmosphere. It’s just the time of the year, and everyone loves it. If not for catching up with family members, then definitely for the ang baos. Who doesn’t?

OMG.. seriously, just gotten my iPhone just 3 days ago and now my phone is pretty much flooded with all sorts of (clean) apps.. from SNS to productivity shites.. haha. but for my first purchase i thought i’d try the highly praised Tap Tap Revenge 2 instead. At first glance i thought it was pretty kiddish and something meant for younger peeps (like say 13-16?). But i guess not. I’ve played 13 songs consecutively on my iPhone on extreme mode until i had no more songs left. -.- yes it’s fun and all with the shakes, taps and three finger maneuver… but it sucks in one aspect. limited songs. i can only download a few free songs for each level and if i want more, i got to pay. arg. oh well. the price of increased utility! ahha.. back to TTR2!
